Sourcing Analyst – Technology & Corporate Services Procurement & Strategic Sourcing
In this role, you will: develop and maintain business relations with new and existing suppliers for products and services purchased by NYP specifcally realted to information technology and corporate sytsems, and negotiate for the hospital through issuing Requests for Proposals (RFPs). You will also coordinate evaluation of suppliers for end users; communicating with internal, departmental leaders to understand sourcing needs, opportunities, and priorities. Additionally, you will conduct financial analysis and creation of deliverables; tracking key metrics for the sourcing team; reviewing contracts and collaborating with NYP’s Office of Legal Affairs and leading projects and negotiations at the supervisor’s discretion. This position plays a key role in advancing Value Based Managment, NewYork-Presbyterian’s campus-wide efficiency initiative that has already reduced costs by $60 million while simultaneously posting highest-ever patient satisfaction.
This is full-time shift 9am-5p Monday - Friday.
Preferred Criteria:
Knowledge of Lawson or orhter ERP Systems
Familiarity with hospital operations or healthcare environments
Demonstrated curiosity, initiative, and willingess to learn and grown in the IT sourcing discipline.
Required Criteria:
Bachelors’ degree in Busniess, Supply Chain, Finance or related field
Minimum of one year of professional work experience
Strong business acument, analytical thinking and attention to detail
Ability to manager multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
