The Systems and Database Administrator III installs, configures, maintains and supports hardware, software, databases for multiple complex applications on diverse platforms for business or patient care needs. The Administrator III provides enterprise level support with a SQL server population of 250 to 300 and supports a number of clinical applications including SWISSLOG Pharmacy, Safe trace Blood bank, Radiology and Cardiology systems, Datawarehouse (in-house), Kronos and other Corporate systems. The Administrator III also ensures the performance, integrity, security and reliability of system components.

Preferred Criteria
Masters in Computer Science or related discipline
Five years + as SQL DBA
Experience with platforms: Microsoft SQL Server on Windows, Oracle on Linux/Unix
Certification: MCSA for SQL or Azure DP300, ITIL4
Languages: T-SQL/PowerShell, PLSQL/Shell
Experience with HA/DR – MS technologies Always On & Failover cluster technologies
Knowledge of security: TDE (DB) Encryption
Required Criteria
Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science/related discipline or related work experience
five to seven years’ work experience

Salary Range:
