Accounts Representative

​Bring your talents to NewYork-Presbyterian, and help represent our collective commitment to service of the highest caliber. As one of our Account Representatives, you will work with patients and third-party payors to ensure proper coverage for the care and caring we deliver.

Account Representative (Medicare Team) - Full Time - Midtown Location (Hybrid)

This position is for a Medicare Accounts Representative. The role entails that staff is responsible for billing, collections, claims follow-up, denial resolution, and patient account management for all Medicare patients. Ensure that all claims are submitted in the accepted timeframe. Investigate patient inquiries involving financial matters to secure payment.

Preferred Criteria 

• Two to four year’s prior experience

• Bilingual (Spanish)

• Associates degree

Required Criteria

• High School diploma or GED

• PC/Data entry keyboarding skills

• Ability to demonstrate compassion and strong customer service skills

• Effective communication skills. Solid working knowledge of third party insurance payors

Day Shift 8:00am-4:30pm (Flex)
