The Systems and Database Administrator III installs, configures, maintains and supports hardware within our Storage Area Network for multiple complex applications on diverse platforms for business or patient care needs. The Administrator III also ensures the performance, integrity, security and reliability of system components.
- Proficient in troubleshooting SAN/NAS connected systems
- Skilled in disaster recovery planning, testing, auditing, and risk analysis
- Proven ability to drive issues to resolution, manage scope, and take ownership of team objectives
- Hands-on product experience with Isilon, ECS, Pure, and Brocade Fiber Channel Switches
- Experienced in configuring and provisioning SAN storage for Linux, Unix, and Windows hosts via fiber connectivity
- Knowledgeable in protocols: TCP-IP, SNMP, RIP, ICMP, ARP, DHCP, iSCSI, SMB, NFS, S3
- Effective status reporting and project tracking across multiple projects; skilled in project documentation and management
- Strong research, investigation, and evaluation skills
- Adheres to change management procedures and monitors applications/infrastructure post-implementation in production
- Provides support center assistance to troubleshoot and resolve system/database issues (ongoing production support)
- Available to provide 24/7 production system support, including during non-working hours
- Prepares weekly status reports on project progress, issue tracking, risks, and mitigation strategies for management
- Executes special projects and additional duties as assigned
Preferred Criteria
Masters in Computer Science or related discipline
Required Criteria
Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science/related discipline or related work experience 5-7 years’ work experience

Salary Range:
