Deliver care you can be proud of as a Laboratory Technologist, conducting routine and complex tests on clinical specimens. Perform a variety of automated and manual tests in all lab areas, which include Blood Bank, Hematology, Chemistry, Serology, Coagulation, Urinalysis and Microbiology following established procedures and without immediate supervision. May be assigned to a specific section or may rotate in all sections. When the technologist meets NYSDOH supervisory criteria may be assigned to perform “in-charge” responsibilities in the absence of a supervisor. Obtain and receive laboratory specimens, including, blood, urine, and body fluids. Perform and interpret clinical laboratory tests used in the diagnosis and treatment of disease in this clinically dynamic position.

This is a full-time night shift position working 11:00pm - 7:00am plus alternate weekends and rotating holidays. Location is our NewYork-Presbyterian/Hudson Valley Hospital campus in Upper Westchester/Cortlandt Manor NY
Preferred Criteria
ASCP certification
Required Criteria
Bachelor’s degree in Medical Technology (or equivalent curriculum)
New York State Clinical Laboratory Technologist licensure from the New York State Education Department
