Registered Nurse - Radiology - Full Time

Practice the art and science of evidence-based nursing at New York-Presbyterian Hudson Valley Hospital.  Lead the charge in improving the patient care experience.  Join an action-orientated team and go to the next level in your nursing career.  The RN is responsible for: patient care through case finding, health teaching, health counseling, and provision of care supportive to or restorative of life and well-being and executing medical regimens prescribed by a provider credentialed by the medical staff; collecting comprehensive data on patients’ health status; analyzing data to determine needs; identifying expected outcomes; developing individualized care plans; implementing and evaluating the plan; and managing care delivery, including coordinating care to a group of patients, directing ancillary staff, assessing discharge needs, providing teaching and leadership while working cooperatively with members of the interdisciplinary healthcare team; improving care delivery through a disciplined EBP process; carrying out goals and objectives of the Patient Services Department within the mission of NYP/HVH. The RN functions within the Scope of Practice of the NYS Nurse Practice Act, NYP/HVH policies and procedures, and standards set by professional organizations and regulatory agencies.

This is a full time 4 days (10hrs)with weekend requirements a week position. Located at 1980 Crompond Road, Cortlandt Manor, NY.

Preferred Criteria

• Bachelor’s Degree in Nursing
• Critical Care experience

Required Criteria

• Two years of acute care RN experience in 
• Excellent communication and organizational skills required
• Current New York State RN license
• BCLS, ACLS and PALS certifications; Specialty certification a plus
