PT Aide/Receptionist - Physical Therapy Center for Rehabilitation – Full Time

Assist in the delivery of physical and occupational therapy services by supporting the therapists as directed, maintaining the environment of care, and greeting and interacting with patients, therapists and registrars to ensure smooth patient flow and customer satisfaction. Maintains supplies, equipment, and treatment areas in accordance with departmental policies and procedures. Performs clerical and administrative tasks to support operations. You will be the calm and reassuring presence patients need as they navigate their hospital experience. This position is a Full-time hours will vary from 7:00am to 8:00pm Monday through Friday position. Located at Croton PT 420 South Riverside Ave. Croton on Hudson, NY 10520. (site location can change when staff is on vacation or for coverage needs) NYP/HVH Physical at NYP/HVH Hudson Valley Hospital 1980 Crompond Road, Cortlandt Manor, upper Westchester County, NY. Or Cold Spring PT, in Cold Spring. Please note that Travel to offsite locations may be needed.

Preferred Criteria

• Ability to communicate with co-workers, patients, physicians, visitors, and families.       

• Ability to work in surroundings with degree of dust, noise, odors, etc. without undue discomfort.

• Ability to read, write and interpret documents.

• Ability to sit and stand for long periods of time to perform job functions.

• Occasionally required to assist in moving patients and equipment.

• Some moderate to heavy lifting

Required Criteria

• High School or equivalent.

Please note that all roles require on-site presence (variable by role). Therefore, all employees should live within a commutable distance to NYP.

NYP will not reimburse for travel expenses.
