Per Diem EKG-EEG – OP Laboratory – Flex Day/Evening

Committed to care, our EKG-EEG technician can enter a room and bring comfort, calm and compassion. Join a team in a fast-paced hospital and conduct appropriate EKG-EEG tests ordered. Achieve at the highest level and feel the pride of Making It Possible

This position is a Per diem Flex Day and Evening working alternating weekends position at NewYork-Presbyterian Hudson Valley Hospital located at 1980 Crompond Road, Cortlandt Manor, upper Westchester County, NY 10567.

Preferred Criteria

• High School graduate or equivalent

• Some laboratory training and EKG/EEG experience

 Required Criteria

• Ability to operate all laboratory equipment and work various shifts.

• Ability to communicate with all hospital staff, physicians, patients, and visitors via the telephone and in person.

• Ability to deal with patients pleasantly to minimize trauma to patients.

• Must be able to function well under the normal pressures of hospital laboratory work.  

• Possess effective communication and organizational skills.
