At NewYork-Presbyterian Hospital, we are changing lives with amazing facilities for care. As a Maintenance Mechanic at NewYork-Presbyterian Hudson Valley Hospital, you will be responsible for performing a variety of engineering and plant maintenance functions to provide for efficient operation of the physical plant and hospital campus and off-site locations. 

Maintenance Mechanic - Engineering - Part Time Weekend (15 hours)

This is a part time weekend position (Sat/Sun) at NewYork-Presbyterian Hudson Valley Hospital located at 1980 Crompond Road, Cortlandt Manor, upper Westchester County, NY.

Preferred Criteria 

• 3 years of related mechanical and electrical experience.

• Ability to transport equipment of varying sizes and weights throughout the facility and hospital campus. Ability to work throughout the entire facility, operate equipment.

• Demonstrate knowledge and competence in area of practice.

• Clean and valid NYS driver license.

• Ability to communicate in an effective manner and able to take direction and supervision.

• Maintain awareness of the responsibility attached to maintaining and servicing the physical plant.

• Ability to communicate effectively with all levels of hospital staff, visitors, and outside agencies

Required Criteria

• High school graduate or equivalent.
