Supervisor Pharmacy Technician - Retail Pharmacy - Variable Shifts Including Alternating Weekends and Holidays

Responsible for the immediate and direct supervision of all non-dispensatory functions conducted by pharmacy technicians, interns, messengers and ancillary staff. Provides direction to pharmacy personnel in managing their respective duties and offers guidance in handling special operations and administrative matters. Monitors daily activities of all sections of the pharmacy and takes appropriate action to ensure efficient and effective operation.

This is a full-time variable shift position including alternating weekends and holidays, located at NewYork-Presbyterian Brooklyn Methodist Hospital

Required Criteria:

• High School Diploma or GED
• Certified Pharmacy Technician (CPhT) with the Pharmacy Technician Certification Board (PTCB) or National Healthcareer Association (NHA).
• New York State Pharmacy Technician License.
• Two years of relevant experience.
