As the Environmental Services Supervisor, you’ll collaborate with the Director to determine the best strategies to deliver the highest levels of cleanliness, safety and hospitality for our patients, visitors, and staff. You’ll have an opportunity to lead and work with an engaged team of action-oriented staff. You’ll report on immediate conditions in all assigned areas and ensure all staff schedules are complete. You will train & motivate employees, ensuring staff remain the face of a caring proactive patient-focused environment. You’ll provide inspiring leadership that fosters consistency and positive results across the NYP enterprise.

This is a full-time night shift position 12:00am-8:00am including alternating weekends off, located at the NewYork-Presbyterian/Brooklyn Methodist Hospital.

Preferred Criteria:

  • Experience driving HCAHP’s scores for cleanliness.

Required Criteria:

  • Associates degree from a recognized college or university or equivalent experience.

  • Minimum of two (2) years of previous work-related experience.

  • Basic knowledge of EVS, laundry, or waste management operations, preferably in a large institution.

  • Solid interpersonal and communication skills.

  • Familiarity with computers.

  • Familiarity with Join Commission Standards and Quality Assurance.

  • Excellent supervisory skills.

Please note that all roles require on-site presence (variable by role). Therefore, all employees should live within a commutable distance to NYP.

NYP will not reimburse for travel expenses.

$74,000-$111,000/Annual
