In this dynamic role, you will leverage your extensive clinical competencies and experience to evaluate and treat medically complex patients with feeding/swallowing disorders. You will work collaboratively with members of the multidisciplinary care team to provide exceptional care. Help us continue to live up to our reputation as New York’s #1 hospital.

This is a full-time position working Monday to Friday between the hours of 8:00AM to 6:00PM with weekend and holiday commitments. This position will work at our New York-Presbyterian/Brooklyn Methodist Hospital location.

Preferred Criteria

• 5+ years’ experience evaluating/treating adult communication and swallowing disorders

• Experience in inpatient acute care setting

• Experience in outpatient setting

• Competency and experience in Modified Barium Swallow (MBS) studies

• Experience working with trach/vent patients

• Experience working with complicated neurological, cardiac, GI and ENT diagnoses

Required Criteria

• Master’s Degree in Speech-Language Pathology

• Certification by the American Speech and Hearing Association

• New York State Licensure in Speech-Language Pathology

• Basic Cardiac Life Support (BCLS) certification required
