Procedural Coordinator - Breast Imaging - Full Time

In this role, the Procedural Coordinator offers pre-certification services for Radiology exams. Coordinate procedures in accordance with department specific scheduling guidelines. This role coordinates our Breast Biopsy scheduling, authorizations, BIRADS follow ups, and manages our Breast Imaging Coordinator Dashboards that are essential to departmental workflows. This role is primarily for BMH Breast Imaging, but will be required to train and cross-cover within Radiology.

This is a full time position, working Monday - Friday, 9:00am - 5:00pm, located at NewYork-Presbyterian / Brooklyn Methodist Hospital.

Preferred Criteria:

• Knowledge of Medical Terminology

Required Criteria:

• High School Diploma or GED

• 2 years relevant experience

• Computer literate

• Demonstrated customer service, communication, and interpersonal skills
