The Center for Community Health, opened in early 2021 in the heart of Park Slope at our NewYork-Presbyterian Brooklyn Methodist Hospital.
Recognized by the American College of Surgeons as a Commission on Cancer (CoC) accredited cancer program, patients at the CCH’s Cancer Center have access to a full range of outpatient cancer services including the latest anti-cancer drugs, targeted therapies, immunotherapies, minimally invasive outpatient surgical procedures, and support and educational resources.
Nurse Practitioner – NP – Cancer Service Line – Days
Each of our advanced practice registered nurses are part of an amazing team invested in evidence-based practice focused on respect, quality, safety, patient and staff satisfaction and value care. As a Nurse Practitioner, you will support the Cancer Service Line by partnering with clinical teams and providing education to oncology multidisciplinary services. Together, we improve the health of patients and their families, making our communities – and the world – stronger.
This is a full time day shift position working 4-5 days per week with some Saturday's required. This position is located at the Center for Community Health at NYP/Brooklyn Methodist Hospital.
Preferred Criteria
Previous experience as Nurse Practitioner in oncology
Required Criteria
Nurse Practitioner Master’s Program
At least 1 year of experience as Nurse Practitioner required
Current NYS Registered Nurse license
Current NYS Nurse Practitioner license
Board Certification with the American Nurses Credentialing Center (ANCC)
Basic Cardiac Life Support (BLS) certification and Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS) certification

Please note that all roles require on-site presence (variable by role). Therefore, all employees should live within a commutable distance to NYP.
