This 400,000 –square foot, multi-specialty ambulatory center encompasses a Comprehensive Cancer and Women’s Health Center, 12 ambulatory surgery operating rooms and Multispecialty physician practices. Our new state-of-the-art building encompasses three 600-ton chillers, five individual air handling units and Schneider control systems.

Laundry Worker – Center for Community Health – Day/Evening Shift

In this role, the Laundry Worker performs a variety of tasks within the laundry department.

This is a part-time day/evening shift position 12:00pm-8:00pm including weekends and holidays, located at NewYork-Presbyterian Brooklyn Methodist Hospital.

Preferred Criteria:

• One year experience in laundry setting preferred.

Required Criteria:

• High School Diploma or GED.

• Basic computer literacy is required.

• Ability to endure strenuous work under extreme heat conditions and prolonged standing.

• Ability to lift heavy objects and able to stand for long periods of time; work requires standing, walking, and manual dexterity. Must be able to lift, pull and push 10 pounds at intervals.
