In this role,the Imaging Technologist is responsible for the preparation and execution of Xray, MR, and CT procedures. You’ll have an exciting opportunity to warmly greet & welcomepatients/visitors/staff& assist radiologists and other physicians in performing exams when necessary. Additional duties include to assess patient condition, produce good quality radiographic images, & ensure adherence to safety standards.
This is a part time position, located at NYP/Brooklyn Methodist, covering Xray, CT and MR services:
Wednesday 11:00pm - 7:00am
Thursday 11:00pm - 7:00am
Friday 11:00pm - 7:00am
Preferred Criteria:
  • N.Y. State Department of Health IV Certification
  • ARRT Advanced Modality certification - MR and CT
Required Criteria:
  • High School Diploma or equivalent
  • Graduate from an accredited program in the school of Radiologic Technology
  • Must obtain at least 24 continuing education credits every 2 years as per ARRT requirements
  • N.Y. State Department of Health X-ray License
  • American Registry of Radiologic Technologists Certification
  • At least 1 year of experience in area of service

Please note that all roles require on-site presence (variable by role). Therefore, all employees should live within a commutable distance to NYP.

NYP will not reimburse for travel expenses.

Salary Range:

$51.38-$61.65/Hourly
