In this role,the Mammo Imaging Technologist is responsible for the preparation and execution of Mammo procedures. You’ll have an exciting opportunity to warmly greet & welcomepatients/visitors/staff& assist radiologists and other physicians in performing exams when necessary. Assess patient condition, produce good quality radiographic images, & ensure adherence to safety standards.
This is a full time position, located at NYP/Brooklyn Methodist, working Monday - Friday 8:30am - 4:30pm.
Preferred Criteria:
- ARRT Advanced modality - Mammo
- Prior experience working in a hospital setting
Required Criteria:
- High School Diploma or equivalent
- Graduate from an accredited program in the school of Radiologic Technology
- N.Y. State Department of Health X-ray License
- American Registry of Radiologic Technologists Certification
- Must obtain at least 24 continuing education credits every 2 years as per ARRT requirements
