Join our team as a Central Sterile Assistant, working alongside our Central Sterile Technicians in providing sterilization services to multiple Ambulatory and Inpatient Operating rooms. In this role, you will be responsible for preparing surgical trays and supplies in a safe and cost-effective manner. As a skilled professional at NewYork-Presbyterian, you will be responsible for decontamination, cleaning, assembly, packaging, sterilization, and distribution of surgical instruments.

This is a full-time evening shift covering the hours of 12:00pm-8:00pm with rotating weekends and holidays at NewYork-Presbyterian/Westchester Hospital in Bronxville; right across from the Metro North Station.

Preferred Criteria

• Previous experience in the healthcare or service-related industry

Required Criteria

• High School Diploma or GED
• Demonstrated ability to communicate clearly with staff, patients, and visitors

Please note that all roles require on-site presence (variable by role). Therefore, all employees should live within a commutable distance to NYP.
