Physician Assistant I -Neurology-Queens Medical Group

Physician Assistant - PA - Neurology-Queens Medical Group

Step into the Neurology Department at NewYork-Presbyterian Queens Medical group, for an exciting opportunity for a Physician Assistant. You will provide complete inpatient medical care of general neurology patients from admission to discharge including consultative services. Performs and document a thorough history and physical exam with the ability to derive a comprehensive clinical impression, or set of differential diagnoses, and concomitant plan of management including diagnostic studies. Accurately and efficiently assess the patient’s clinical status in a competent manner, with presentation to the supervising/ attending physician.

Preferred Criteria

• Experienced PA in Neurology highly preferred

Required Criteria

• Bachelor’s Degree from an accredited PA program required
• Minimum of one year Neurology experience
• Current New York State Physician Assistant licensure required
• National Commission on Certification of Physician Assistants (NCCPA) certification required
• Basic Life Support (BLS) Certification and Advanced Certified Life Support (ACLS) from the American Heart Association.
