Patient Access Liaison- NYPresbyterian-Medical Group Queens-Multi Specialty-Forest Hills

Excellent customer service skills and team player.  Treat people with respect, including coworkers, physicians and patients. Handle calls with discretion, sensitivity, and privacy.  Must be able to use EMR and knowledgeable with insurances.  Job duties include answering multiple line, giving appropriate information to caller and ensures proper call routing or is able to provide personal assistance for callers request.  Complete intake registration process and obtaining insurance benefits, general preferences on communication and demographic information. Adheres to scheduling guidelines. 

Required Criteria:

  • Knowledge of medical office setting and medical terminology
  • Excellent oral and written communication skills
  • Planning, organizational skills and team work
  • High school Diploma or GED


  • College degree
