Nurse Practitioner (NP) - Electrophysiology (EP) Arrhythmia Department- Full time Days
Key Responsibilities:
- Conduct comprehensive assessments and device checks for patients with cardiac implantable device
- Collaborate with physicians and other healthcare professionals to develop personalized treatment plans
- Utilize advanced technology to monitor patients remotely and provide timely interventions
- Educate patients and their families about device management care, cardiac ablation procedure, and arrythmia
- Contribute to a culture of excellence and continuous improvement
- Gather data, conduct initial history and physical examination, and formulate and implement treatment plans in collaboration with physician
- Order diagnostic studies related to the patient's plan of care and response to treatment
- Provide follow-up care on outpatient basis
This is a Full time Day shift position, 4 days per week, 8am to 6pm. No weekends or holidays. Located at 56-45 Main Street Flushing, NY 11355
Preferred Criteria:
- Current or previous nursing experience in cardiology
- Three or more electrophysiology NP experience
Required Criteria:
- Master of Science in Nursing
- BSN
- Current New York State License as Nurse Practitioner
- Current New York State RN license
- FNP board certification through ANCC or AANP
