Position objective:

To provide nursing care and support to providers of the medicine / surgical service division. Provide administrative support as it relates to patient documentation, clinical pathways, policies and procedures.

Provided direct nursing care.

Provides counseling and education to patients and families.

Serves as a consultant and resource person to healthcare professionals regarding patient care management.

Plans and implements a variety of administrative/operational activities.

Additional responsibilities as required.

Education/License Requirements:

High School Diploma or equivalent GED

Graduate of an accredited nursing program

Current-New York State Registered Nurse License
