Clinical Nurse Manager - 3N – Med Surg/Vent/Tele - Part Time Nights

Bring your passion for team-building to our one of our Medical/Surgical units, offering comprehensive care with a human touch. 5N is a 48 bedded unit comprised of Med Surg and Vent patients along with telemetry monitoring; 5N is a Progressive Care Unit. Clinical Nurse Managers coordinate all aspects of clinical care to ensure the delivery of high-quality, family-centered services to our patients. Assist with unit administration, including the management of staffing needs and scheduling. Mentor staff RN's on a regular basis, providing clinical education and conducting follow-up procedures as necessary. Foster collaboration and independent thinking. Lead and round with the staff.  Mentor, coach, and implement performance and quality improvement.

This is a Part Time Nights (12 MN - 8 AM: 5 shifts in two weeks) position at NewYork-Presbyterian Queens located at 56-45 Main St, Queens, NY 11355.

Preferred Criteria

• Master's degree in Nursing or related field

Required Criteria

• Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN)

• Current New York State registration to practice nursing

• Minimum of 2 years of clinical experience 

• Demonstrated leadership competencies

• Previous clinical expertise within Med Surg

• Current NYS RN license

• BLS with AHA
