  • Patient Care Director - RN – Coronary Care Unit (CCU)

    Nurses, discover the epicenter of Critical Care Nursing. For over 100,000 patients each year, we deliver expert evidence-based care. Join us, and manage the delivery of high-quality care to patients in the Coronary Care Unit at Magnet designated NewYork-Presbyterian Columbia Irving Medical Center. Collaborate with the Director of Nursing to establish short- and long-term goals for the units. Help mentor new staff. Communicate with all levels of leadership.  And facilitate efficient, cost-effective unit operations.

    Preferred Criteria 

    • Progressive Leadership experience in an academic medical center

    • NEA certification

    • Critical Care Registered Nurse (CCRN) certification from AACN

    • Experience in a union environment

    Required Criteria

    • Bachelor's Degree in Nursing (BSN) and Master’s Degree in healthcare

    • Current New York State RN license

    • 3+ years of Registered Nurse experience in Critical or Cardiac Care

    • Strong organizational, analytical and communication skills

    • Current AHA BLS
