Senior Project Manager Facility Interior

The Design, Project Strategy and Innovation (Interiors Team) role is integral to delivering design projects that align with the hospital’s aesthetic vision of timeless and sophisticated interiors that are durable, maintainable, and budget appropriate.

The Senior Project Manager – Interiors (SPMI) will partner with the Corporate Director of Design, Project Strategy and Innovation to advance the development and integration of best practices that address institutional strategic objectives of a consistent approach to the built environment across all platforms of patient care.  In this role, the SPMI activities will impact the patient experience through innovation and transformative practices.

Required Criteria

  • Bachelor’s degree in architecture, design or construction or engineering                                         
  • Minimum 10 years of directly related experience.
  • A passion for quality design resulting in the improvement of built environments that support patients, families and staff.
  • Exceptional written and presentation skills
  • Collaborative leadership style that inspires co-workers, clients and leadership
  • Fluency with tools used for design, research and project management
  • Past experiences that illustrate organizational changes resulting from their efforts
  • A result driven management style that has achieved success in a complex organization
  • A core attribute of respecting a diverse workplace
  • A curiosity for learning, a keen ability for listening, and a manner that inspires highly functional teamwork.
  • Fluent in Microsoft office, and working knowledge of Adobe Creative Suite and CAD
