Description:

The Senior Marketing Manager leads strategic planning and implementation, driving high-impact marketing efforts within the Marketing and Communications team. This individual will partner with Marketing and Communications leadership and key internal stakeholders, to explore, design and implement strategic marketing initiatives that elevate NewYork-Presbyterian’s market position and relevance, increasing patient consideration and conversion. This role acts as an ambassador, thought leader and project manager to guide priority marketing projects from ideation to point of arrival, ensuring alignment across the organization and rigorous measurement and analysis.

  • Customer Engagement/Marketing: Partner across Marketing and Communications, IT, Finance, external partners to develop a Master Customer Segmentation Strategy designed to execute a curated Customer Engagement Marketing Strategy that includes ongoing broadscale and/or targeted communications to keep NYP top of mind. He/she will partner across the institution to be the voice and influence of Marketing in the development of new patient journeys and patient experiences based on customer segmentation learnings.  Partner across NYP to unleash the power of the CRM platform to enhance targeting.

  • Business Development: Given Consumer engagement in health and wellness has expanded exponentially, he/she will find new ways to reach our design target in their everyday lives and identify new partnership opportunities. In addition, this will include identifying third parties that can improve customer experience and data analytics.   This person will also be responsible for reporting competitive intelligence on relevant advancements in healthcare customer experience and services that can provide support in reimagining patient journeys.

  • MarCom Data Usage Strategy & Planning: Across Marketing and Communication partner with teams to identify and implement new opportunities that leverage new and existing sources of data to improve operating efficiencies and to make more informed decisions. To enable this, will partner with IT, Digital Marketing and Finance to build and manage a planning and measurement platform for Marketing that measures both KPIs and financial impacts and establishes best-in-class benchmarks. 

Preferred Criteria:

  • Master’s Degree

Required Criteria:

  • Bachelor’s Degree from a recognized college or University
  • A minimum 8-10 years of marketing experience with a corporation or agency
  • Must have outstanding interpersonal and communications skills, a proven track record of success.
  • Must be skilled at executing within tight timeframes with attention to detail and accuracy
  • Ability to budget and maximize resources while maintaining control over expenditures
  • Strong project management skills
  • Previous supervisory experience
  • Working knowledge of MS Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Project and Outlook).
