Take the next step in your career and join the team as a Senior Laboratory Technologist.  In addition to technical responsibilities in the Immunohistochemistry Laboratory, you will assume some supervision and coordination of the activities of the laboratory personnel in the performance of quantitative and qualitative tests. Here, you will have the ability to train and guide laboratory technologists, participate in problem-solving processes and maintain quality assurance and quality control standards, among other responsibilities.  You will also have the opportunity to assist with writing and maintaining procedures, completing proficiency testing, and monitoring supply inventory.  In addition, you will be a part of the development, optimization, and validation of new tests. 

This is a full-time position, working Monday - Friday from 10am - 6pm.

Preferred Criteria     

·6 years of experience as a Laboratory Technologist or 4 years of experience with a Master’s Degree

·ASCP certification

Required Criteria

·A minimum of two years’ experience in Immunohistochemistry

·A Bachelor’s degree in Medical Technology (or equivalent experience) 

·New York State Clinical Laboratory Technologist licensure from the New York Education department
