Senior Financial Analyst – Nursing Finance

Channel your top-notch financial skills at the nation’s largest private not-for-profit medical center, NewYork-Presbyterian Hospital. In this role, you will assist in budgeting and accounting operations for NYP nursing department’s enterprise wide.  Budgets development and ongoing management plus monthly analysis of spending trends. Monitor financial reports, key performance indicators (KPI’s) and statistical analysis reports. Create ad hoc reports and analysis of statistical data, identify variances and graph trends. Participate in preparation of presentations to campus and senior leadership, guiding their ability to effectively manage multi-million dollar budgets and expenditures. This position plays a key role in understanding and advancing clinical operations and financial performance. Developing interdepartmental relationships, analytical skills are key to the being successful in the position. Preferred Criteria

  • Degree in Accounting/Finance 
  • Experience with EPSI, Microsoft Office and Lawson
  • Advanced Excel skills

Required Criteria

  • Bachelor’s degree
  • Minimum of 3 years of experience
  • Knowledge of financial statements, budgeting and forecasting
  • Strong analytical and effective communication skills
