Senior Financial Analyst - Decision Support

Step into the #1-ranked hospital in New York (U.S. News & World Report) in the mission-critical and growing Decision Support department.  As a Sr. Financial Analyst, you will collaborate with a multi-disciplinary finance team to analyze and optimize the data integrity processes for the NYP Enterprise.  Under the guidance of a designated Project Leader, assume responsibility for maintaining the data integrity of EPSi (the hospital’s cost accounting system) by performing regular data checks for all facilities (e.g., daily/weekly KPI trends), and documenting changes to data structures and process flows.  Primary responsibilities include routine database maintenance and troubleshooting, testing/analyzing/ implementing EPSi system upgrade/modifications, compiling/maintaining system and user data documentation.  Collaborate and investigate questions/issues with Information Technology and Analytics partners.  Join our enthusiastic team and feel the pride of supporting world-class patient care.

Preferred Criteria

  • Proficient in EPSi, EPIC, Lawson
  • Proven proficiency in cost accounting design/methodology and previous experience in healthcare preferred but not required
  • Knowledgeable in maintaining health care decision support systems or SQL databases

Required Criteria

  • Must be proficient in Microsoft Excel and Powerpoint
  • Bachelor’s Degree
  • Minimum of 3 years of related experience
  • Strong data and analytical skills.
  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills
