Inpatient Coder - HIM - Part Time - Remote or Onsite

Perform varied and complex diagnostic and procedural coding for accurate DRG, severity of illness, and risk of mortality assignment.

Key Criteria

Ideal candidates have current CCS, RHIA or RHIT certification. Qualified candidates will have completed college level coursework in anatomy, physiology and medical terminology and a formal inpatient coding training program. Two to three years' experience in complex diagnostic and procedural inpatient coding within an academic medical center supported by a high school diploma or equivalent is required.

The official title for this position is Senior Medical Data Analyst.
