In this dynamic role you will serve as coordinator for the admission, transfer and discharge of pediatric patients. In doing so you will improve the experience of the children and their families by decreasing the time to transfer the child to the next level of care including the transition to home or another facility.
The role requires excellent communication and collaboration across all disciplines both within and outside of the institution. You will be prioritizing admissions; bed assignments and transfers from within and from outside institutions. A knowledge of pediatrics is essential as is an understanding of insurance and regulatory requirements.

This is a Monday -Friday 8:30am - 4:30 pm position.
2 yrs experience in a similar or care coordinator role
Master's degree in Nursing or related field
Bachelor’s degree in Nursing
NYS RN licensure
Strong organizational and prioritization skills
Effective interpersonal skills
3 years’ experience in an acute care facility- at least 2 of them In Pediatrics
