Registered Nurse – Workforce Health and Safety - Per Diem - Days

Join an action-oriented Workforce Health and Safety team as a registered nurse and go to the next level in your nursing career. Work alongside a team of experienced employee health professionals who provide amazing care to NYP’s workforce and be responsible for screenings, including employment physicals, annual health reviews, flu vaccination campaign, and triaging work related injuries.

This is a per diem day shift position (shift can vary - minimum 3 days per week with no weekends or holidays required) at NewYork-Presbyterian/Weill Cornell Medical Center. 

Required Criteria

  • Bachelor of Science in Nursing
  • Current New York State License and Registration as a Professional Registered Nurse
  • American Heart Association BLS
  • Knowledge of nursing process: social, behavioral, biological and physical science
  • Knowledge of current health care environment
  • Knowledge of customer service principles
  • Knowledge of effective interpersonal communication skills
  • Knowledge of use of computer applications
  • Ability to analyze patient care data to deliver and evaluate care
