Step into this critical role supporting the Physician Services Division across the NYP Medical Group practice sites and lead performance improvement projects to improve patient access. Your collaboration and relationship building skills will be key as you partner with operational and clinical leadership to evaluate patient access opportunity areas while developing and executing optimized solutions to our patient and provider needs.

Develop key performance dashboards to measure performance/compliance, identify opportunity areas, measure performance improvement impact and drive staff, provider and leadership engagement. You will be at the forefront of embracing technology, including telemedicine initiatives. As Project Leader, you'll work closely with Divisional and NYPH leadership to design and execute best practice patient access strategies including but not limited to: practice site operational efficiencies, scheduling capacity and efficiency and appointment capacity and efficiency.

Qualifications

Education

Required:

Bachelor’s degree with focus on health care management, business administration or equivalent

Preferred:

Master’s degree in health care management, business administration or equivalent

Work Experience / Qualifications

Required:

Minimum of five years of progressively increasing responsibility with a hospital, consulting firm, or health care organization

Strong organizational, analytical, interpersonal, and oral and written communications skills are critical

Demonstrated leadership ability and experience in conducting senior level meetings and project management tasks

Excellent analytical and technical planning skills required to address complex management issues

Proficiency in word processing, spreadsheet, and presentation development
