If you are eager to work with the top professionals in the field, supported by the best resources, we have an opportunity for a dedicated Physician Assistant to work with the pediatric population, managing ENT - Tracheostomy patients on the pediatric unit and providing continuity of care in the outpatient clinic.

This PA will work closely with the supervising physician, managing pre and post-op care, consultations, patient and family education, and discharge planning. Our PA will also function as a liaison to coordinate and provide follow-up care with responsibility for the outpatient clinic flow and efficiency.

Opportunity to first or second assist in the OR, with the expectation to eventually take a leadership role in tracheostomy management and teaching of care. Our PA will participate in daily floor rounds, consults, ordering and following up of labs, radiographic testing, and tracheostomy management.   In this role, the PA will take responsibility for performing floor and office procedures, such as tracheostomy change and tracheoscopy.

Preferred Criteria

  • At least two years of inpatient ENT, Surgery, Critical Care or Pulmonary experience

Required Criteria

  • Bachelor's or Master's degree in Physician Assistant studies
  • New York State PA licensure
  • NCCPA certification
