Koch Center, opening in April 2018 at our NewYork-Presbyterian/Weill Cornell campus, will set a new bar in personalized outpatient care -- from diagnosis to treatment -- by integrating new technologies and innovative clinical approaches to provide the highest quality care and enhance the patient experience.  This 750,000-squarefoot, multi-specialty treatment center is designed to accommodate the latest technologies and will feature many innovations in the delivery of care to meet patients’ expectations in new ways.  In this state of the art center, the Patient Access Ambassador is responsible for setting the stage for an outstanding patient care experience. Seeking a dynamic personality with strong interpersonal and technical skills set. You’ll register, schedule, and update patient information for multiple practices.  Provide support to optimize the overall efficient, smooth patient flow and a superior patient experience.  At the David H. Koch Center, you’ll find a patient-focused, engaging, and supportive environment. 

The shift for this position will be 10:00 AM - 6:00 PM including weekends and holidays.

Preferred Criteria

  • Bachelor’s Degree in Business or Healthcare
  • Experience in a complex clinic setting and/or Patient Access Department
  • Concierge Management
  • Bilingual

Required Criteria

  • Minimum of two years or more of customer service experience with focus in healthcare or hospitality
  • High School Diploma
  • Strong commitment to providing an outstanding patient experience
  • Superior customer service and communication skills
  • Demonstrated trouble shooting, multitasking and problem solving skills
  • Knowledge of mobile technology
