Oncology Research Pharmacist – Seeking Pharmacists Experienced in Informatics (Vestigo and Epic Beacon)

Our exceptional leadership team supports our staff members to take an active role in patient care. Utilize your patient education experience to build closer relationships between pharmacy and our interdisciplinary teams. Use your analytical skills to assist with the build, implementation and maintenance of all oncology and investigational medication use technology-based processes, including but not limited to: Vestigo, chemotherapy regimens, CPOE, e-MAR. Play an active role in ensuring effective process design, development and implementation of Oncology Electronic Medical Record and Clinical Decision Support. Support pharmacists, physicians, nurses and other clinicians as the resource for requests related to EMR updates specific to chemotherapy and support medications.

Preferred Criteria

  • Experience as a Pharmacist in a research or oncology setting
  • Completion of a PGY1 or PGY2 residency 
  • Strong analytical skills;
  • Informatics experience building EMR protocol for Oncology Pharmacy strongly preferred
  • Stroing working knowledge of Epic Beacon and Vestigo

Required Criteria

  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills
  • Bachelor of Science Degree in Pharmacy or Pharm.D. Degree
  • Board Certification (e.g. BCOP, BCPS)
  • New York State licensure
