Occupational Therapist - Adult Acute Care – Per diem - Cornell Campus

Evaluate, plan and provide occupational therapy treatment programs for patients whose injury, disease, or loss of body part interferes with daily functioning. Provide skilled intervention using varieties of techniques that are appropriate to achieve identified goals. In this role, you will cover a variety of settings including neuro, oncology, general med-surg and orthopedics.

This position is per-diem and days worked are flexible, must have weekend availability. Includes intermittent holiday coverage. Week day availability a bonus.

Preferred Criteria

• 2 years adult acute care experience

• ICU and early mobilization experience

• Comfortable in a fast paced environment

• National Board for Certification in Occupational Therapy (NBCOT) Certification

Required Criteria

• BS degree in Occupational Therapy

• NYS Occupational Therapist License within one year of hire

• NYS Limited Permit (application submitted upon hire)

• Basic Cardiac Life Support (BCLS) certification
