Join the close-knit Nuclear Medicine team at NewYork-Presbyterian/Lower Manhattan Hospital—the singular source of advanced care and caring for the 600,000 New Yorkers who live and work south of 14th Street.  Here you will work with dynamic colleagues and a diverse in-patient population. Be immersed in a full spectrum of diagnostic and therapeutic care while assisting with the evaluation of a wide range of medical conditions, from thyroid disorders to hypertension, heart disease, and pulmonary disorders. As a Nuclear Medicine Technologist, we’ll depend on you to handle, prepare, administer and dispose of sensitive radiopharmaceuticals. You’ll perform quality control and follow aseptic technique standards to ensure patient and colleague safety. You’ll obtain and distribute medical records as needed, while collaborating with leading radiology physicians to provide integrated and expert evaluation of each patient.

In this Per Diem role, we are looking for coverage primarily Mondays and Fridays, in addition to coverage as needed for vacation, sick days, and holidays. The hours for this position will fall between 7:00am - 4:00pm.

Required Criteria

  • 3 years of experience in nuclear cardiology/nuclear medicine laboratory/ or equivalent
  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience 
  • Licensed Nuclear Medicine Technologist by the Department of Health
  • American Registry of Radiologic Technologists (ARRT) or Certified Nuclear Medicine Technologist (CNMT)
