The Rehabilitation Medicine Department at NewYork-Presbyterian Hospital is one of the largest in the nation and this position will oversee nearly 150 employees. The Physical Therapy Manager plans, coordinates and oversees the daily clinical activities and quality of services rendered to Physical Therapy Unit in the Rehabilitation Medicine Department for Milstein, Allen, Vanderbuilt Clinic, Harkness Pavilion and Children’s Hospital. This position will help provide high-quality care to our adult and pediatric populations in both inpatient and outpatient settings with patients ranging from birth until 100+ years of age. In this role, the individual will develop, and implement treatment programs to meet the needs of the patients. This position oversees on-the-job training, and monitors in-service education programs. This role also develops policies and quality control programs, interviews prospective employees and prepares performance evaluations.
This is a full time position with shifts Monday to Friday from 8:30am to 4:30pm
Preferred Criteria
7 years of experience
3 years of supervisory experience
Required Criteria
Bachelor’s degree in Physical Therapy
Current NYS PT licensure
Basic Cardiac Life Support (BCLS) certification
American Physical Therapy Association (APTA) membership
