Manager of Facilities Operations – Engineering Department - Gracie Square Hospital
In this role, the Manager of Facilities Operation directs, plans, and oversees the hospital operations, 24 hours a day, 7 days a week. You will plan and establish the master schedule, priorities for inspections, maintenance, alterations and construction for the four main buildings. You will develop and lead an engaged team of engineering and maintenance staff. You will also review/approve purchase requests, manage external contractors, vendor proposals, and ensure that system performance complies with inspection standards, and regulatory agencies.
Preferred Criteria:
  • Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Business or related areas
  • Trade specific license
Required Criteria:
  • Associate degree in Engineering, Business or related areas
  • Minimum of five (5) years’ experience
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Software
  • Knowledge of MEP systems, CMMS systems, regulatory agencies (NYDOH, CMS, TJC) Management/Supervisory skills
  • Proven management skills in diverse labor force
  • Strong communication, interpersonal and organizational skills
