The Brand Marketing Manager will sit on the Brand & Sponsorships team, and will manage the strategy for activating the brand through the various marketing channels and service lines of NewYork-Presbyterian in order to bring it to life across the enterprise. The Brand Manager will partner with key internal partners to consult and advise on the brand expression in marketing campaigns and assets, as well as communications, social and PR, to ensure it is fully represented in the marketing ecosystem consistently, as well as innovatively. The Brand marketing manager will also partner across the Marketing and Communications team to develop and curate content and stories that uphold the brand across channels, through stories about our patients, physicians and communities. The manager will also be a brand champion with NYP Human Resources, partnering internally to ensure that all employees feel connected to the brand in their own work and employee experience. They will work with agencies, digital marketing and analytics to craft relevant messaging and design, think about media and channel strategy and analyze results to continuously improve efforts.

Essential Job Duties

  • Collaborate with partners in service lines, physician marketing and communications, on plans to oversee brand expression in assets, campaigns, messaging and strategy, ensuring adherence to guidelines and vision for brand.
  • Identify ways the brand can play a more visible and meaningful role in marketing activities and initiatives throughout the enterprise, to strengthen awareness, consistency and activation and to advance priority initiatives.
  • Partner and lead planning for brand content disseminated throughout communications and marketing, including editorial stories, podcasts, physician videos, etc. to elevate and amplify the brand in all outward facing messages and experiences.
  • Lead partnership with Human Resources as cultural brand activist for employees, designing brand integration into the employee experience and NYP culture, through shared content, leadership messages, employee swag, training and more.
  • Analyze and interpret metrics and campaign results; formulate key insights and actionable recommendations.
  • Performs other special projects and duties as assigned.

Required Criteria

  • Bachelor’s degree from a recognized college or university.
  • A minimum 8-10 years digital marketing experience with a corporation or advertising agency.
  • Must have outstanding interpersonal and communications skills, a proven track record of success.
  • Working knowledge in CRM, Marketing Automation and Analytics tools.
  • Demonstrated experience in synthesizing data into stories.
  • Must have outstanding interpersonal and communication skills.
  • Ability to work independently, and to be able to communicate directly with various personnel at the hospital such as physicians, their staff and other healthcare professionals.
  • Working knowledge of MS Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Project and Outlook).
  • Must be skilled at executing within tight timeframes with attention to detail and accuracy.
  • Ability for flexibility in scheduling, as some evenings and weekends may be required.
