We are inviting the best Lab Technologists to work side-by-side in our state-of-the-art, high-complexity Flow Cytometry Laboratory. We will rely on you to complete all aspects of leukemia-lymphoma immunophenotyping including CD4/CD8 lymphocyte subsets utilizing our Flow Cytometer and BD Cantos technologies. Under the direction of the Lab Manager and Laboratory leadership team, you will assist with processing clinical patient specimens such as bone marrow, peripheral bloods and tissues.  Additionally, grossing and biobanking of tissue duties as well.  You will also have the opportunity to assist with writing and maintaining procedures, completing proficiency testing, and monitoring supply inventory.  In addition, you will be a part of the development, optimization, and validation of new tests. 

This position is full-time, working Monday – Friday, 1:00pm – 9:00pm, with rotating Saturdays. Rotating on-call Sundays and holidays as well.

Preferred Criteria

·Flow Cytometry experience

·Grossing experience

·Experience biobanking specimens

Required Criteria

·A Bachelor’s degree in Medical Technology or related health science field

·New York State Clinical Laboratory Technologist licensure from the New York Education department
