Lab Technologist - Point of Care Testing (POCT) - Full Time                                                                                                                                                                               NewYork-Presbyterian/Lower Manhattan Hospital is the singular source of care and caring for the New Yorkers who live and work south of 14th Street. The vision for this role is to serve as an aid to the Point of Care Supervisor in regards to maintaining of equipment and compliance of documentation. This individual will fit the role of assisting with Point of Care duties as well as interactions with hospital staff from various departments, as Point of Care Testing is a joint partnership with Nursing and Physician Assistant’s to be able to provide quick and accurate tests results when treating patients. Here, you will gain valuable experience at New York's #1 ranked hospital.

This is a full time position working Monday - Friday 8:00am - 4:00pm.

Preferred Criteria

• ASCP certification
• Prior experience in a large hospital system

Required Criteria

• Bachelor’s degree (orequivalent experience) 
• New York State Clinical Laboratory Technologist licensure from the New York Education department
