Human Resources Specialist - Respect Office
Under the NYP Chief Respect Officer’s direction, the Human Resources Specialist furthers NYPH’s dedication to a respectful workplace by educating leaders and employees on principles and standards of respect, professionalism, protected class and belonging. The HR Specialist leads or provides support to investigations into employee relations matters, protected class, professionalism, harassment or abuse allegations. In this role, you'll promote the enterprise’s standards for respect through development and delivery of training and education programs. In addition, further seek to understand, document and remediate employee relations matters and inquiries, fostering a more respectful workplace and mitigating organizational risk.
This is a full time position working on-site 4 days and the ability for 1 day remote. The primary location will be Hospital based, with the ability to travel to our Corporate office and other locations enterprise wide.
Preferred Criteria
Master’s Degree or other Advanced Degree
Experience managing complex organizational dynamics
Experience conducting workplace investigations
Required Criteria
Bachelor’s Degree
5 years of Human Resources, Legal or Compliance, or other related field
Familiarity with federal, state and local protected class designations and law/guidance pertaining to Equal Employment Opportunity

Please note that all roles require on-site presence (variable by role). Therefore, all employees should live within a commutable distance to NYP.

Salary Range:
