Development Communications Manager

NewYork-Presbyterian seeks a Development Community Manager based at its brand new corporate headquarters near Grand Central Station in Midtown Manhattan. This position will work closely with the  Director to mentor and lead the day-to-day operations of the Development Communications team and manage the development  of event collateral for 70+ events per year. In this role, you will spearhead creative strategy, production quality, and messaging for high profile fundraising and cultivation events. This role will recommend communication approaches that drive results while aligning with departmental and hospital strategies. In order to be successful, this individual should be able to thrive in a fast-paced, collaborative environment.

Preferred Criteria

  • Strong self-starter with the ability to work independently
  • Creativity and familiarity with  graphic design, layouts and experience working designer to produce publications

Required Criteria

  • Bachelor’s degree
  • Minimum of 5 years experience 
  • Exceptional organizational skills and attention to detail
