Data Analyst - NYP Division of Community & Population Health - Weill Cornell
The Analyst is responsible for developing analytical reports and dashboards to support operational decision‑making, program implementation, and program evaluation across a broad portfolio of community health programs within the Division of Community and Population Health. This role translates program workflows and business requirements into technical specifications, builds scalable data structures, and delivers insights that inform patient care and program performance. Working closely with clinical, operational, and enterprise analytics partners, the Analyst ensures data is accurate, timely, and actionable while building strong domain expertise across diverse clinical and community programs.
Preferred Criteria
- Experience working with EMR systems
- Desire to exceed expectations in providing excellence customer service and patient care.
- Project management experience
- Experience working with EMR systems
- Familiarity with scripting or statistical analysis languages (e.g., R, Python, SAS)
- Demonstrated proficiency in SQL, including writing complex queries, joins, window functions, and SPROCS.
- Experience developing reports and dashboards in Power BI (or similar BI tools).
Required Criteria
- Bachelor’s degree or equivalent work experience
- Minimum of 3 years of related experience
- Strong analytical skills with the ability to collect, organize, analyze, and interpret and visualize data from multiple sources.
- Strong organizational, interpersonal, verbal, and written communication skills
