Corporate Compliance Specialist – Institutional Conflict of Interest

As a Corporate Compliance Specialist, you will be a lead professional responsible for monitoring and oversight of the institutional conflict of interest process, supporting the timely identification and analysis of potential conflicts of interests related to the outside relationships and activities of NYP Trustees, Medical Staff and employees. Your responsibilities may also include, but may not be limited to, the maintenance of thoroughly detailed records of all disclosures and their adjudication, and facilitate trainings around conflict of interest topics.

Step into this vital role supporting NYP's initiative to enhance our robust Compliance and Privacy Program throughout the NYP system. You will be a part of a team that implements processes, reviews policies and increases awareness of Compliance and Patient Privacy Rights.

Preferred Criteria

  • CCEP, CHC, CHPC, CHRC or CHC-F certified

Required Criteria

  • Bachelor's degree
  • Three to five years’ experience relating to healthcare compliance
  • One year of experience relating to conflicts management
  • Knowledge and experience of government healthcare laws, regulations, and standards, particularly Medicare, Medicaid, and Privacy and Security regulations
  • Ability to maintain confidentiality
  • Ability to communicate effectively with all levels of the organization.
  • Proven self-starter; ability to work with minimal supervision.
  • Knowledge of CMS Open Payments System
