Join the passionate nurses of NewYork-Presbyterian/Columbia Hospital as a Clinical Nurse Specialist, and deliver clinical teaching and support that makes a life-changing difference. Be a well-respected expert at the bedside and work to maintain compliance with mandates. Lead and inspire by example across Orthopedic services. Assist with new staff development and data collection. We are seeking a creative problem-solver with excellent communication, presentation and teamwork skills, who has a commitment to compassionate care. Step into this new role where you'll participate in planning strategies, work closely with leadership and improve the practice of nursing and quality patient care. 

This is a full time day shift, Monday - Friday position at NewYork-Presbyterian/Columbia Hospital.

Preferred Criteria

  • Previous teaching experience

  • General surgical experience
  • Previous EMT

Required Criteria

  • NYS RN licensure
  • Master’s degree in Nursing
  • Actively enrolled in approved CNS program
  • Minimum of 5 years of relevant nursing experience
  • Excellent communication, presentation and teamwork skills, who has a commitment to compassionate care
