Our team of engaged pediatric critical care nurses hold a range of certifications in their respective areas of clinical practice. Our highly advanced medical care includes, but is not limited to Extracorporeal Membrane Oxygenation (ECMO), critical care needs of burn patients, and continuous video EEG monitoring in addition to the standard patients admitted to the PICU and Stepdown unit. These services enhance the clinical autonomy of our nurses making the Komansky Children’s Hospital a center of excellence for pediatric critical care. Together, we integrate clinical expertise, technology, and science to improve outcomes.

This Clinical Manager position is for the Pediatric ICU at New York-Presbyterian/Weill Cornell Medical Center. This is a full time 10 hour Night Flex shift position 4 shifts a week (with some rotation and including weekends). 

Preferred Criteria:

Previous management experience 

Masters in Nursing or related field. If Masters in Nursing, BSN can be preferred.

American Nurses Credentialing Center approved national board Certification

Pediatric Critical care experience

Required Criteria

  • At least two years of acute care RN experience 
  • Bachelor’s Degree in Nursing
  • Current New York State RN license
  • BCLS certification
  • PALS Certification
  • Excellent oral and written communication skills
  • Demonstrated leadership competencies
