Interventional Radiology Technologist - Radiology - Per Diem

Under the direction of an interventional radiologist and department leadership, the Technologist is responsible for the preparation and execution of any and all Interventional exams (dependent upon technologist’s specialties). Performs a variety of technical procedures that will require independent judgment, with ingenuity and initiative to obtain required images for a radiologic diagnosis and therapy. Will routinely perform all duties assigned consistent with the Hospital’s commitment to providing quality health care services in a compassionate and humane manner. Will be required to work in a variety of modalities routinely, including but not limited to (OR, X-Ray, portables, fluoroscopy, hybrid equipment).

This is a per diem Interventional Technologist position at NewYork-Presbyterian Hudson Valley Hospital located at 1980 Crompond Road, Cortlandt Manor, upper Westchester County, N.Y.

Preferred Criteria

• American Registry of Radiologic Technologists certification in Vascular Interventional

Required Criteria

• High School Diploma or GED
• Graduate of an accredited Radiography program
• American Registry of Radiologic Technologists certification in Radiography. Maintains continuing education credits per American Registry of Radiologic Technologists requirements.
• Minimum of one year experience in Diagnostic Imaging
• Demonstrates excellent clinical judgment and ability to apply new concepts and skills in interventional Radiology.
• Assessment and patient care responsibilities are delivered with the knowledge of patient growth and development and are appropriate to ages, cultural and developmental needs of the patients served.
